Condolence From: Phyllis
Condolence: We were so fortunate to meet up with my long term friend when Chris and Murray came to Scotland on holiday. It had been 48 years since we graduated from nursing together and had spent our high school days together. We were only separated by my emigrating to England, but always thought of her as my close friend. I am enormously proud of what she achieved in her life in which she always gave or sought to give to others. Her closeness and happiness in her family was always prevalent, and Christine was a warm and supportive presence. I know she will be sadly missed by her family and colleagues, and will struggle to come anywhere near to her generosity and love. Special thoughts of Murray her best friend and support. Love to everyone, Phyllis and Bob James

Condolence: Dearest Christine;
Although I cannot be there to pay my respects today in person, I wanted to let you know what a profound impact you had in my life. As one of your 'counterpart' grandmothers, I will do my best to honour you by continuing to share the smallest joys with our grandchildren, something you were so incredibly good at, and I promise to try to live up to the impossible standards you set for love, kindness and care in your family and the community. I feel so lucky to have known you and am pained that I will never hear your soft, welcoming voice, always happy to chat and to swap stories about the children and grandchildren. I feel truly honoured and humbled to have known someone as unselfish as you. You will be deeply missed.

Condolence: Christine touched the lives of so many people. Those of us who knew her through the Glebe Co-op Playgroup remember what a pleasure it was to be with her and to experience her upbeat, can-do attitude and people skills.
A wonderful woman!
Sincere condolences to all of the family.

Condolence From: Theresa Wallace and John Dance
Condolence: Sincere condolences to Murray, Chris and all the family. We remember what a dedicated and hard-working spouse and mother Christine was and how much joy she took from watching her sons play hockey and from all that was involved in parenting three growing children.
Our thoughts are with you.

Condolence From: Linda Short
Condolence: There are no words. None that can say how much Christine will be missed. We first met in grade one and remained friends throughout high school. Although we seldom saw each other for years at a time after that, we were always able to pick up our friendship each time we met. That is the kind of person she was! When we were lucky enough to have my brother-in-law placed in a TCE home, we were reminded of all the wonderful things Christine had accomplished in her life and Billy's last years were brighter because of her hard work and dedication to the rights of all people. Our thoughts are with you Murray and your family at this difficult time.
