DONALD WILLIAM PETERS

Don passed away peacefully at Bruyere Palliative Care after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved Husband of Patricia ( Cooke, Gazo ) loving Father of Michael (Jennifer) Gazo, Steve Gazo, Andrew Gazo. proud Grandfather of Nicholas, James, Matthew, Leanna, Jason and Gregory. Predeceased by Mildred, Lillian, Edna, Reginal. Don played and coached baseball, played basketball, hockey and golf. He taught at Algonquin College for over 30 years. In retirement he and Pat toured Europe, cruised, and saw some wonderful places in their travels. He worked in his beautiful garden, supported the 67's and the Lynx. He was a proud member of Rideau View Golf course for over 45 years. He golfed well into his late 80's. Sincere thanks to the staff at Bruyere Palliative Care. A private family gathering will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
