Condolence: I have very fond and grateful memories of Emily in the early days of Hospice when we were still at All Saints Sandy Hill. Her wisdom and dedication helped us all through many challenging times in those pioneer days, as we worked together to bring about Hospice care in Ottawa.
I am especially thankful for the mentoring and support that she so generously gave to me, always with kindness and her warm, contagious smile.

I was sorry to hear of the death of your mom. I have many fond memories of Emily as a friend and congregant at St. Paul's. We taught many courses together during the years I served there. I appreciated her wisdom, insight and wonderful sense of humour. Her faith was a lived reality that impacted everyone she encountered and I am grateful to God that I had the opportunity to know your mom and to learn from her. And now she is able to look into the face of the one she followed with all her heart.
May God keep you in his embrace as you commit you mom into his presence.
