Condolence From: F.Ardyth Elliott
Condolence: So sorry to read of your loss. We met all too briefly through RTO. We didn't really have a chance for reminiscence.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to George's family. I taught with George at York Street. He was one of the finest teachers I knew, one who made a real difference. He was loved and respected by staff and students alike. One of my fondest memories of him was at a Grade 8 Graduation. When our principal, Jim Williamson, announced that George was retiring, the entire graduating class spontaneously leapt to their feet and gave him a standing ovation. There were also tears from students and staff. In all my years of attending graduations, I never saw anything like it - a fitting tribute to the kind of man that George was. Rest in Peace, George. You made a difference.

Condolence: Dear Mrs. Tweedie and family

I just read of Mr. Tweedie's passing and wanted to offer my sympathy. I had the good fortune of having Mr. Tweedie as my teacher when I attended York St. Public school. He was my very favorite, and to this day, I will never forget how he challenged me daily to spread my wings. He made me appreciate the English language. I hope the happy memories will help you all through this time.
