Fun, fun, fun

I thoroughly enjoyed my "encounters" with Helen over the years. I thought it started when I was a driver for the seniors at St. James....but it actually started earlier (1967). My wife and I were looking for a house in Dundas and we looked at two in detail...one on Parkside Drive and the other in Pleasant Valley. The mortgage rate on the one on Parkside was a 1% above that on Pleasant...prices were the same, approximately...so we went to the valley. Maybe a mistake. Years later, as I was driving the seniors ... probably in the late 1990's...I drove my group of ladies up Parkside, stopped in front of the house that we considered and said..."we almost bought that house" ... and Helen chirped up with..."That was MY house" .... small world. Helen and I conversed over electronic mail for years and she was my source for some VERRRRY interesting stories and jokes....loved her dearly. Great lady. Sad to hear about her passing, but she certainly had many good years.......will miss her.
