Condolences

Condolence From: Linda (Sugrue) & Brooke Ashfield
Condolence: Dear Gary and David and family: I only heard of your mom's passing today. My brother John told me as he had just read this news in the Knox Church newsletter. I have such wonderful memories of your mom and dad. As a young girl growing up at Knox they were one of the couples that stand up in our memory; they always exuded a positive, friendly, and warm welcome. (and of course I always thought - one of the most handsome couples at the church too!) Along with our parents they were part of the wonderful generation who were not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and pitching in for the greater good of the community. My parents (Joan and Dave Sugrue) always appreciated their friendship through the Martha Circle, Session and other programs etc and I remember how devastating it was for your mom and family on the loss of Bob. I am so sorry that your mom passed during this pandemic. It has indeed been most difficult for families with loved ones in care. Sending our condolences, and trusting that their love, their legacy and the wonderful memories you have of your mom (and dad) continue to bring tears of joy and sadness as you grieve her loss. May God grace you with strength and comfort.

Condolence: Joan was a wonderful person - very compassionate and caring. She was a faithful member of Knox Church for many years and was a very willing volunteer at Knox events. Joan and I were members of a group of ladies that were part of a larger group of ladies within the church so we worked very closely together at church events. While her health over the past several years has not permitted Joan to be actively involved I know she would have kept Knox in her heart. My sincere sympathy to her family. Joan was a loved person by everyone who knew her.

Condolence: David, Carissa and Family,

I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your beautiful Mother. I truly believe the our greatest loss is the love of our Moms.

I did not know her, but I can tell by the kindness and caring nature that she instilled into her son that she was as well.

Much love,
Denise
