I am so glad that I was able to spend some quality time reminiscing and laughing with Pat a few weeks before she passed. We had been wonderful friends since the age of 9, a rarity for army kids! She was one of my best friends and I will miss her immensely but I consider myself lucky to have had her in my life for 63 years. She was the wittiest person that I have ever met. And also one of the most caring. My condolences go out to everyone who loved her.
