Condolences

Condolence From: Margot Clarke
Condolence: Ruth and I were members of a small Book Club with Doreen Henley and Ann Braden. Ruth was such a gracious and thoughtful person. It was a great pleasure to have known her.

Condolence: I met Ruth at Blessed Sacrament parish, I was adjusting to moving in the area after decades at Divine Infant in Orleans. Fr. Joe said to talk to her because she was great to be with and had a lot of wisdom. We had breakfast after mass a few times. She told me about her life before marriage, her cottage, her spirituality. She was indeed a wise woman. I visited at her home once and she told me how they had bought it and how she loved it. I don't remember hearing about her children and their families. She had a very calm demeanour and easily expressed her opinion.
I never visited her in care. I miss her and often thought of her and her lovely hair and shy smile.
Blessings on her family. You can be proud of her imprint on our Catholic community.

Condolence: To Ruth's Family,
Your obituary for your Mother is beautiful and speaks to the Ruth Grace I knew when she was the chair of the Women in the Church Committee for the Archdiocese of Ottawa. Since Ruth knew the Sisters of the Holy Cross in her home town of Washington, she was delighted to know that I too was Holy Cross and that formed a bond from our first encounter! May our gracious God comfort you as Grace is welcomed to eternal peace and joy!

Condolence: Elizabeth, Anne and Entire Family,

Very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Though I did not know her well, she was always very gracious and kind to all Glebites when we visited your home.

Condolence From: Jason Grant
Condolence: Dear Grace Family,
It is with great sadness that I write this note of condolence for the passing of your mother. Mrs. Grace was so very kind and welcoming of me, into your extended family. I have many wonderful memories of conversations at your kitchen table, on the dock of your cottage, boat rides in crazy rain storms and helping me iron shirts. Ruth was a beautiful light that will be greatly missed.
Love and hugs to all.

Jason
