Ted passed peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Jeannie Labrecque. Loving stepfather of Jason Labrecque (Fatima) and Natalie Labrecque. Much loved father of Kerri Toneguzzi (Angelo), Steven Ozinga and Christopher Ozinga (Angela). Stepfather of Carlie Lima, Amber Vandervoot and Mike Lacoste. Cherished Paka of Charlie, Kristina, Alexis and Chloe. Ted will be sadly missed by his brothers, Peter Ozinga and Albert Ozinga, sisters, Tina Vandinbush and Sadie Bruinsma, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters, Claire and Shirley. Family and friends are invited to visit the Winchester Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 472 Main Street, Winchester on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 2 pm to 4 pm. Words of Remembrance will be given at 3 pm. Interment at Merrickville Union Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ryan’s Wells Foundation.
