I am an American who used to visit the Larue's fishing camp on Lac Decelles, Quebec, with my family, for many years in the 50s and 60s.  I remember Gloria well. She was a shining star. She was beautifu and brilliant, and bubbling with energy and life.  I lost track of her. after that, as she went off to work at the embassy Ottawa or Montreal.   I have thought about her and her family often over the years.
