Condolence: Two out of so many memories:

I'd moved to Edmonton and was living in an apartment. Your dad wrote to me a little note and taped on change for laundry. I loved that.

I have no idea how old I was -- 10? 12? but I stayed at your house for New Year's Eve. Probably you big kids were going out, but your Dad took Karen and I at least to the movies. I don't remember what we saw first but when it was over, he wondered if we wanted to see another movie? We did! We saw Sounder. And it was so sad. So when we got home to Martha, he let us stay up to watch "another!" movie! Annie Get Your Gun. I was so wide-eyed that a person could have SO MUCH FUN in one day.

I love you all so very much.
