Condolence From: Marsha Moss Hartman
Condolence: Anne, Peter and Family
I am grief stricken to hear about Ian. Many fun years in school with him, and you, Anne (sitting on your garage roof in the summer). And Peter, what a terrible way to touch base with a cousin.
My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time in your lives. Your pain must be unbearable. Remember the happy and fun times as this will help you through.

God Bless.
Marsha

Condolence: Mostly, for me, Ian was the sweet older brother of my best friend during my younger years. But I did feel his gentleness and caring in the operating room once as a patient -- he was so comforting during a scary time. My deepest condolences to Anne, Peter and Daniel. Thinking of you.

Condolence: Ian
You were a good and caring doctor.. who could ask for more?...but you were more..a friend and a passionate motorcyclist, as am I.
You are missed by many you could not even imagine.
you were killed whilst living.
Thankyou for your life.
Every time I ride through an intersection I will think of you..and keep my eyes wide open.
It could have been me, and as I am told I have about a year to live, I wish it was. But I will continue to ride alone or with friends as long as I am able.
Go with God Ian.

Condolence: As a surgeon at the Riverside I worked with Ian as my anesthetist for 35 years. His skill, humour and relaxed manner were appreciated by the patient staff and surgeon. We would meet at Nan's for lunch or breakfast and start off with the joke or other humour of the day and then progress to other matters.
I will miss him greatly . Hope he finds a good cycle up there.

Condolence From: Marilyn & Ellwood Rollins - Battersea, Ont.
Condolence: Please accept our sincerest condolences in the loss of Ian. He visited us at our home on Dog Lake (Rideau Canal System) several times and we enjoyed his enthusiasm and his tales for the love of motorcycling and his work in the medical field. We also had many a laugh together and for this we will miss him tremendously. He was a caring & true friend indeed. He died too young, but at least he died doing what he loved to do. May God keep him safe and have him serve as an Angel for those he loved most. Our hearts are with his family and dearest friends during this difficult time.
