Condolence From: Audrey Lawrence
Condolence: Bonnie, I am not sure if you will remember me or not, but I lived across the street from you when we lived in Ste. Foye in the PMQs. My name then was Audrey Swaffield. Please share my heartfelt condolences with all who were close to him.
I have such fond memories of Rolly along with George Comeau and my brother Glenn Swaffield (now deceased) who were known as the Three Musketeers as they were always together so much. Also , notable for the number of suppers they managed to eat on some evenings when they moved around from each other's house and letting the respective mom know that they had not eaten.
Sometime around 1995 or so when I was working at the Civic, I bumped into Rolly in the elevator in the Heart Institute and we both recognized each other and had a short chat, so I knew you lived a bit out of Ottawa but fairly close but as I didn't get a chance to call you then, I missed that window of opportunity.
Please accept my sympathies. I know all of you will miss him so very, very much!
