Knowing how much I love to photograph the flora and fauna of the cottage, one year in the early spring, my dear brother-in-law drove me to where a magnificent Ladyslipper was blooming. It was on a steep embankment and I couldn't manage to reach it to take a photo. Don went back to the cottage and got a small ladder and returned to the spot. Tormented by mosquitoes, he held the ladder steady for me as I managed to get some beautiful shots. Thank you Don for always supporting me and appreciating my artistic endeavours.
