Condolence: Hi Ricky, here is the 2nd story Hans shared with me: I remember staying overnight at the house on Morrisset. Rick and I were staying in the basement and we heard a noise, so we looked out the window and someone was trying to break into his car; A 68 Mustang he had at the time. So we ran up the stairs in our underwear and I made it to the middle of the lawn and wiped out sideways in a pile of BiBi's crap. It was up my leg and all over the side of my body. You're bother looked and me and fell to his knees laughing. Needless to say, the guys got away. Sharon, I stunk like crazy & it was nasty!!

Condolence: Hi Ricky, Finally found you old friend Hans Niggemann, well.. actually he found us. He shared with us 2 amazing stories that well deserved to be posted for all who visited to see. This is the 1st story he shared: Thank you for sharing the Youtube video of Rick. After watching it I had to go for a long drive alone after. The last time I saw Rick was around ‘83 or ‘84’ I want to tell you a little story which takes me back to the 60's when I was around 6 or 7 years old that you may find interesting. I grew up at the corner of Preston St. and Aberdeen. The Pure Spring bottling plant had just been demolished behind my house but the garage for the trucks was still standing on the north side of Aberdeen. Someone who fixed cars rented part of it on the east end of the garage and as a young kid who loved cars at the time would go over there and watch the men work. They had the doors open most of the times in the summer heat. There was a man there at the time who called me in saying "hey kid, come here". I went in and he asked me to go to the greasy spoon the near corner of Rochester and Beech. I forget what the place was called though. At the time coffee was 5 cents so I would get the coffee and sandwiches they wanted and this kind man would give me the leftover change as long as I was honest about it. I hung around there and watched the men work in total fascination until the boss or owner would tell me to get lost. The man was very kind to me and would answer any question I had making me feel very important and sometimes he would joke around a little with me asking when I would get a girlfriend, which would make me blush a little, but he was very kind easy on me. Now let’s go forward 11 or 12 years: I met Rick because he was going out with my sister and we really hit it off and started hanging out to my sister's dismay. We had a great time doing some crazy and stupid stuff feeding off each other’s insanity (yes Rick could be crazy). One day Rick took me over to where you're father worked at Raymond's Body Shop off Cambridge St. (I think I was 18 or 19 at the time) and introduced me to your father, Red. Well Jeez! That was the man that was so kind to me when I was a kid many years before. I thought the world of your dad and so did Rick. It's crazy how paths cross so many times. The two of them were very good people.

Condolence: Hi RIcky, Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday. Today you would have turned 65. Know that we all love you and we all miss you very much. 2020 has not been a good year so far. The world is trying to fight and recover from this caronavirus so we have all been isolating and not being able to see family. Easter, Mother's Day passed without much notice and we had to cancel your celebration of life until government feels its safe for people to gather again. That said, I couldn't let today go by without saying hello to you and sending birthday wishes. Know I love you and miss my big brother dearly. Love, hugs and kisses, Sharon xoxo

Condolence: Dear Ricky… It’s been a week and I still don’t know how to put this into words. I’m so sad, heavy-hearted, in such dis-believe this happened to you. I’m angry because once we knew what was wrong, it was too late, you didn’t have a chance, it was all so fast. So unfair. You didn’t deserve any of this. I try to look at the silver linings but it doesn’t take away the pain of losing my big brother. I’ve read what others have written and they described you so perfectly. Your quiet strength and presence calmed my anxiousness to feeling safe and secure and everything was going to be OK. All those tomorrows lost. I need to believe you heard our words, felt our touches and knew we were there with you. I take comfort knowing that family was there waiting to greet you on the other side. Condolence: My condolences to Laura and Rich's family. I have had the great pleasure of working with Rich over the last 14 years. He was a kind, caring and gentle man, so easy to get along with, never said no, would do anything to help you out and always had your best interest at heart. I will miss you Rich. Condolence: Uncle Rick's passing was sudden and every time I look at his picture I don't want to accept the truth. But the strength my mom and Grandma have shown me has been an inspiration to embrace the many memories and I know that Rick is at peace because he was surrounded by so much unconditional love.

Rick will forever be in our hearts. We love you - Sylvia, Bubba, Jemma, Kendra & Mya
