Norma, I am so saddened to hear of George's passing. I had great respect for George as I knew him from my work with him when I was at Ag Canada and George was at the regional vet lab in Kemptville as well as through Rotary; me at West Ottawa and George as a DG and the Kemptville Rotary club. George was truly "Mr. Rotary". I admired his dedication to Rotary and its work. I have just completed my year (2013-14" as District Governor of District 6740 in eastern Kentucky. George and other PDG's I knew from District 7040 served as a model for me in my DG year.
