Dear Norma and Family:
I was saddened to hear of news of Dr. Fisher's passing (I really can't think of him as George). The news brought back many memories, including working for him in your very large garden back around 1980 or so and his role as a prominent Rotarian in Kemptville and in the District. He was a member of the club that sponsored me as an exchange student to Brazil in 1982-83. In 2001 I became a Rotarian; I've been president of my club (Calgary Olympic) and now I'm running the District 5360 scholarship committee. Some of this involvement in Rotary is surely due to his influence all those years ago. He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Hendrik Kraay
Dearest Norma,
Please accept our deepest sympathies.
You have lost your lifelong partner and the community has lost an icon and an amazing leader and gentleman, the likes of which we will likely never ever see again.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and know that George will forever live on in the wonderful stories that friends and family will share with others for many years to come.
Warmest wishes,
Susan and Mark

Norma , Brian & I were saddened to hear about Georges passing. His last few months were a true challenge of him. He is now at rest. Know we are thinking of you with love.
Norma, may you and your family have many great memories to guide you through this difficult time. I will forever see you and George with your warm smiles and the last ones on the dance floor at many Rotary events. We will miss him but not forgotten.
