Bob Annis

I wish to extend my deepest condolences to Jim’s family, sisters and brother. For me Jim was a special sort of guy. As a youth he was always my younger cousin and be it at the Norway Bay cottage or our respective family homes in Ottawa we learned and shared many lessons in life...some learned the easy way ,some not so, and always there were family ties that bound us together. In later life I met Jim only periodically but in those instances he came close to a big John Wayne type character for me. His stature, impressive boots, big full moustache , his forthrightness, integrity and true grit spirit left a deep impression. Jim will be sorely missed. Your cousin, Bob “Talk low, talk slow, and don't talk too much.” John Wayne.
